Private Lessons |
If you've reached a stage in your Taekwondo cycle where the current offering classes is a little under the level you feel you need. The club is now offering private 1 on 1 or 1 on 3 training sessions.
These are on a first come first served basis and will only be offered if the club / instructors believes that this is the case.
We encourage our students to train with the community but do understand that there is sometimes a need for additional focused training.
Please be aware that these classes are expensive and will not be offered as a matter of course.

Taekwondo For Adults |
This class has growing from strength to strength and it's now a permanent fixture in the Downham club timetable.
Focusing on an intensive cardiovascular workout along with practical self defence and traditional and sporting Taekwondo.
If you are interested then simply come down on a Saturday and have a go before joining.

And if you would like to come down and speak or join in. Then it is advisable to come 10 - 15 minutes before the class starts and speak to a member of the team, as during class lesson the instructors are normally busy.

MKUTA POOMSAE TOURNAMENT RESULTS (SATURDAY, 12/05/2012) |

A solitude GOLD medal was all that Team Nomad brought back from the MKUTA tournament on Saturday, after competing for a long hard day against some of the best poomsae exponents in the country and from abroad.
But do not be deceived by this, the whole management team is buoyed by the performance of our young team members, some competing for the first time.
The team may have not come away from the tournament with bag loads of medal but they have come away with something better; the experience. With this experience the team will go onto achieve bigger and better results.
Well done to all those who competed, Aaron, Aksayan, Rajit, Chanel, Jack, Philip and a big well done to Rhiana for winning her Class C peewee class competing against 6 other players.

There is to be a London Team Interclub Exchange on the 24th of June 2012. In the next two weeks those who have been selected to compete will recieve a memo. The club will pick between 20 - 25 students to attend.
